MANGO BIKES / SWIPE RIGHT
The Problem
Mango Bikes make customisable, colourful bikes for people who don't consider themselves cyclists. The challenge was cutting through a category full of technical jargon aimed at the wrong audience entirely.
The idea
Each Mango bike has its own personality. So I gave them their own Tinder profile with its own unique bio. Six bikes, six profiles, one message. Swipe right for the ride of your life.
The delivery
The idea came to me on a Saturday night. I messaged Andrew (the founder) straight away, and he loved the idea. We jumped on it first thing Monday morning and had the campaign fully designed and ready to go before lunch. It ended up being much more popular than we expected. Within a year, we brought in independent agency Mellor and Smith to push things further. Together, we launched a national run of OOH advertising, starting with Swipe Right. My first national campaign.
The work I did at Mango will always be special to me. It's where I grew as a creative. I wouldn't be where I am today if it weren't for the time I spent there.
Where it ran
OOH billboards, organic social.
